Online event platform – in use during the symposium

The symposium will use the online, browser-based event platform provided by the Oxford Abstracts system. The platform functions similarly to a mobile app and will be used throughout the symposium.

The event platform is easy to use and mobile-friendly. For the best user experience, we recommend using the latest version of a web browser, for example Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Safari or Edge.

Link to the platform

Participants who have registered for the symposium will receive a login link to the event platform on 20 April. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the platform and its functions in advance to get the most out of it!

On the event platform you will find

  • Full programme with abstracts
  • Chat channels for communicating with other participants
  • Virtual “name badges” of participants
  • Poster gallery (ePosters)
  • General information, maps

You will also receive real-time notifications via the platform, e.g. about possible programme changes.
